|||Durban - Two men have been arrested for robbing a man of three cellphones and his car keys in Pinetown, KwaZulu-Natal police said on Thursday.
Four men approached a 48-year-old man when he stopped his car at a traffic light on Chapel Street on Wednesday night, Captain Thulani Zwane said.
They threatened him with a firearm and a knife and got into his car.
“The man was ordered to drive towards Anderson Street, and on the way he was robbed of his three cellphones.”
The man escaped at a traffic light on Anderson Street.
The robbers abandoned the car, but took the keys.
Patrolling police arrested two of them and recovered two cellphones.
They were expected to appear in the Pinetown Magistrate's Court on Friday. - Sapa
