A man died after he and a co-worker were hit by a car in Durban, paramedics said.
|||Durban - A man died after he and a co-worker were hit by a car in Durban on Thursday morning, paramedics said.
“The two workers ran across the Umgeni Road at around 7am to get to their workplace on the other side when they were hit by a car,” said Netcare 911 spokesman Chris Botha.
The car had come to a stop about 20m further from where the two lay in the left lane of the road.
The man, in his thirties, died of the extensive injuries he sustained.
His female co-worker, also in her thirties, sustained critical injuries and was taken to hospital. - Sapa
