|||Durban - The Durban flying squad and the K9 unit have put 193 wanted criminals behind bars in the past two weeks, KwaZulu-Natal police said on Thursday.
Among those arrested were alleged murderers, car hijackers, house robbers, and armed robbers, Captain Thulani Zwane said.
During the operation 16 unlicensed firearms were confiscated and 33 suspected stolen vehicles recovered. The firearms would be sent for ballistic tests to establish whether they were used in any crimes. - Sapa
