|||Durban - The teachings of Jesus will make it to this year’s Sexpo when the 150-year-old Christian organisation the Salvation Army teams up with the show’s organisers.
They will endeavour to bring the gospel to the masses while male and female strip shows take place in private lounges along with demonstrations of B&D (bondage and discipline) and S&M (sado- masochism) roleplaying.
Painter Pricasso, who paints portraits using his penis, and well-endowed international porn stars will also be in attendance.
While the show has given Durban a miss this year because of logistical problems, Sexpo marketing manager Sean Newman encouraged Durbanites, even prudes, to make the trek to Joburg.
“We guarantee that we have something for everyone.”
He said their partnership with the Salvation Army was not unusual as they had partnered with many different religious organisations over the years. “We support the Salvation Army and their message Stop Human Trafficking.”
Salvation Army spokesman Carin Holmes said their presence was to show their availability and not one of judgement, while bringing “a Christian understanding of sexuality”.
