A man accused of stock theft has appeared in the Dududu Magistrate's Court, KwaZulu-Natal police said.
|||Durban - A man accused of stock theft has appeared in the Dududu Magistrate's Court, KwaZulu-Natal police said on Tuesday.
Siyabonga Nzama, 32, appeared in court on Monday, Captain Thulani Zwane said.
He was arrested on Thursday for allegedly stealing 10 cattle in Gazikhawu Ward, Dududu.
Nzama allegedly stole the cattle and drove them to a forest in Nobugwele Ward where he secured them with ropes.
The owner of the cattle and residents worked with police to track a bakkie allegedly used by Nzama to transport the cattle.
Nzama was expected to apply for bail on January 16. - Sapa
