A man was swept out to sea while swimming at Salmon Bay in Ballito, north of Durban.
|||Ballito - A man was swept out to sea while swimming at Salmon Bay in Ballito, north of Durban, on Monday, paramedics said.
The 29-year-old-swimmer apparently hit a rip current and was swept out to sea, Netcare 911 spokesman Chris Botha said.
“His friends watched him disappear under the water,” Botha said.
Police were conducting a search.
