A man died and a woman was injured when two cars collided on the N2 south after the M41 on-ramp near Mount Edgecombe.
|||Durban - A man died and a woman was injured when two cars collided on the N2 south after the M41 on-ramp near Mount Edgecombe, north of Durban, on Tuesday, paramedics said.
A BMW driver lost control of the vehicle, it veered across the centre median and collided head-on with a Lexus, which caught alight, said Crisis Medical spokesman Neil Powell.
The man driving the Lexus was trapped in the vehicle and died at the scene, he said. The woman driving the BMW suffered moderate injuries and was taken to hospital.
