A man was reportedly found dead in his BMW X5 on the side of the N2 northbound near Chesterville, Durban police have said.
|||Durban - A man who cannot be named because his next of kin have not been informed was reportedly found dead in his BMW X5 on the side of the N2 northbound near Chesterville early on Saturday morning.
According to a source close to the investigation, the man was shot repeatedly through the open window of his car.
Police confirmed that an incident occurred at about 2am.
“A 35-year-old man was found dead in his motor vehicle with four gunshot wounds on the N2 northbound near Chesterville,” said Colonel Jay Naicker, adding that the motive for the killing was unknown at this stage.
