|||Pietermaritzburg - A pupil was killed and six others injured when a car overturned in Pietermaritzburg on Friday, paramedics said.
The car veered out of control and rolled down a small embankment on Joubert Street, said ER24 spokesman Russel Meiring.
The pupils were pulled out of the wreckage by residents who had witnessed the accident.
The injured were treated on the scene before being taken to various hospitals, Meiring said.
