Durban - Police are offering a R15 000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a Durban hospital worker alleged to have shot dead a fellow worker earlier this year.

Police spokesman Thulani Zwane said on Monday police were still looking for Khulekani Ntuli, 43.

Ntuli, who worked at Durban's King Edward VIII hospital, was alleged to have shot and killed Sipho Mfayela, 54, on February 28.

“The suspect allegedly shot and killed the victim after he was told of the results of his misconduct disciplinary appeal. The victim was shot twice on the chest and died while receiving treatment.”

Zwane said Ntuli, who faced a murder charge, was believed to be hiding in Gauteng.

Anyone who might have information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Umbilo detectives on 031-319-5100 during office hours or investigating officer Warrant Officer Vusi Nkosi on cellphone number 072-107-2578 or the crime stop number 08600-10111. - Sapa
