Durban - A man was arrested after a search was conducted at an apartment in Sydenham, near Durban, KwaZulu-Natal police said on Saturday.
Drugs with a street value of R712 000, including 8909 mandrax tablets, were recovered on Friday, Captain Thulani Zwane said.
“Acting on a tip-off, police stormed the unit in Sydenham Heights,” he said.
“The drugs that were seized were then sent to forensics for analysis.”
The 18-year-old man was due to appear in the Durban Magistrate's Court on Monday. - Sapa
